Ingrid Mazorra

Ingrid Mazorra agreed to help operate a fraudulent infusion and injection clinic, called Xpress Center Inc., in Livonia, Mich. She admitted that the clinic routinely billed Medicare for services that were either medically unnecessary or never provided. Her patients were recruited and than paid kickbacks in the form of cash or prescriptions. Mazorra was billed $2.3 million in fraudulent claims and that it was paid about $1.8 million.
