This was unreal...
He/She/It went to the dating website where I had a profile and at first stated he was so glad I responded, he did not think I would...The compliments poured...I checked the dating site, thought it was strange that his profile was not there anymore once I answered his email but...the scammer is also known to use different alias names and pictures, probably of people on Facebook or actually on the dating websites and just copied and pasted their pic...Anyway...Then, he, assuming it might have been a he, but who knows...stated "About Me"...went on to say he was a widower living in California with a Pastor Nelson but working on the Pearl rig in qatar, is an engineer went to school in Alberta Canada, has a 13yo daughter living with an elderly mother in UK., father was an international business man that is deceased..if this sounds familiar, the story might be a little different but...I got suspicious when he was very evasive to my questions so I google'd scammers working on Pearl Qatar oil rig and found basically word for word what they script to get you hooked, usually stating that they want you to remove your profile from the dating site, they see that we were meant to be...etc...I didn't get as far as some of the others, when I found out it was a scammer, I blocked the emails, but. they stated in their blogs that this scammer goes on to say that he was in an accident all others died who were with him, no money on credit card, no cash, asks for help, send money...well...unbelievable...I was one of the lucky ones to be suspicious...be very careful, this is a scam...
