David Skaf

David Skaf was a Massage Client of mine who even ripped me off by not paying me for Legitimate Massage Services. He approached me regarding selling office equipment on my Ebay account and my Pay Pal account. The business equipment he was selling was the automated machine that is used for Telemarketers. Mr. Skaf also wanted my Passwords for both Ebay and Pay Pal. He then went a step further and wanted my physical Pay Pal Credit Card.

I am embarrassed that I did not confer with my friends and internet sites regarding scammers. I guess I didn't think I was getting scammed. I just did not know any better.

When I asked him why he needed my passwords and cards he always gave ambiguous answers and would quickly change the subject. It was suspicious that he claimed he had his own place he lived, but was always living at his sisters condo where she never lived. When asked what he did for a living he claimed he was a Financial Advisor. When I tried to probe further he never would give any concrete answers. Red flags should of gone off in my brain, but did not.

I asked David Scaf why he physically needed my Pay Pal credit card and password. I wanted to know why he can't just take my Pay Pal credit card number on a piece of paper. He just replied, "I need to do some stuff on the account and I will give you the card tomorrow".

I found out a few days later after he took me to the Olive Garden in Pompano, Florida and he handed the Server a credit card that the card he handed the Server was "My Pay Pal Credit Card". He didn't even tell me. I didn't even notice.

I then went to Stein Mart to shop. I bought 2 items and I found it weird that I couldn't purchase anything else. He called me later that same day and David said, "I see you went shopping today. Did you need what you bought? Oh, well, that is alright". Who the heck does he think he is telling me , "Oh, well, that is alright". Red flags started to go off at this point.

At the same time this was going on my computer was being repaired so obviously I had no computer to check on Ebay and Pay Pal to see what he was up to. Immediately upon getting my computer back I checked my Ebay account and found out one of the people he did a transaction with under my account the individual was unsatisfied and there was a complaint made against me on Ebay. I contacted that individual on Ebay and gave him Davids information. I don't know what happened between the two of them. I then thereafter went to my Pay Pal account. OMG.... I found out about the Olive Garden Restaurant in Pompano, Florida where David took me to lunch and then I found out Mr. Skaf went to a local ATM on East Commercial Boulevard near Lauderdale-By-The-Sea he used my Pay Pal credit card to take out money ($22.00) out of my account. I found that amount of money to be weird because my experience with ATM machine withdrawls were not in singles.

I immediately contacted Mr. Skaf via telephone and started a heated conversation with him and he got angry with my tone, attitude, acquasitions and choice of vocabulary and hung up. I told him to bring back my Pay Pal account. He had given me his lap top to use and when he came over I gave him his lap top and he gave me back my Pay Pal credit card. I have never spoken to Mr. David Skaf again.

I did contact the police and made a report . Unfortunately Ft. Lauderdale Police Department say they can't help me because it is only a Misdemeanor, however, Detective Amy Hoover suggested (954 828 5914 suggested that I contact the State Attorney's Office because this is not a Felony and that I would have to do all the leg work for the State Attorney's Office. I decided since it was approximately $50.00 that it was not worth it. I felt there is more then one way to skin a cat. So, I decided to go on this site.

I did see him shortly thereafter in traffic in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea on East Commercial Boulevard. He was driving next to me and he turned his head totally around in his Silver Past Vw license plate has a Q78 with a Sherrif's plastic symbol that covered the 4th and 5th letters on his license plate. His sisters address is 2797 NE 51 Street where he lives but claims he has his own residence. I was scared when I saw him on the East Commercial Boulevard in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea stopped by the Intercoastal Bridge.

I do not want Mr. David Skaf to SCAM any one else out of any money or by trying to use their Ebay or Pay Pal account.

Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of my Mr. David Skaf.

I also contacted the Olive Garden in Pompano, Florida to let them know what he did because he frequented the Olive Garden and befriended one of the Bartenders.
