Mark Baker

Mark Baker admitted to setting one of his investment properties on fire because he was behind on his mortgage payments.. Authorities found the materials they say he used to set the fire in his primary residence (how stupid).. Baker confessed to setting fire to the rental property, telling a detective that he was "upside down" on the home and three months behind in mortgage payments of more than $3,000 a month.

I guess a short sale was totally out of the question..
