CORAL SPRINGS ANIMAL HOSPITAL
CSAH-$10,251.00 bill to misdiagnose my cat
CORAL SPRINGS, Florida, 33071
Horrific experience for my cat because he died while in the care of the vets at CSAH
Is it possible CSAH designed a treatment protocol that was 'inappropriate'-'excessive'-'abusive' to raise this outrageous expense resulting in my cats death while in the care of the Vets at CSAH?
*Brought my cat to CSAH for a 2nd opinion-had all tests from other clinic with me. CSAH insisted on doing their own tests. Is it possible they insisted on this because it allowed them to increase the bill another $2000.00+ ? CSAH spent so much time putting together estimates - at least 45 minutes while my cat just laid there needed to be cared for.
*CSAH reported back that my cat had an "obstruction in his intestines-a rock-bone-tumor or cancer of the lining of the intestines"- Is it possible this is a script the vets use at CSAH?
*Was told there are 2 procedures; scoping or cutting the intestines open to remove the "obstruction" - the one he never had!
*CSAH Vets disappear once again to put together their estimates they pride themselves on
*CSAH reserved $10,000 on my credit card prior to performing procedure - discovered this thru my credit card call that day-requesting to increase my limit. IS this a mormal protocol - to reserve money like this hours before the surgery? The answer is NO!
*CSAH forced my cat to lay in their clinic for 6 hours before surgery-surgery he did not need!
CSAH - currently claims that my cat was a "Critical Care Patient" - if this is true why would all of these experienced Vets have him lay there for hours before treatment?
*CSAH Vet reported back that my cat DID NOT HAVE an obstruction;lab results were he had IBS/pancreatitis- clearly not something requiring such a drastic surgery like cutting open the intestines. Is it possible that they treat it with medications & diet?
With all these "highly skilled specialists/Vets" at CSAH and all the state of the art equipment in this gigantic building tha has grown from 1 Vet to 33 Vets within 35 years- how could they MISDIAGNOSE - this? Isn't it true that a rock-bone-tumor-cancer of the lining of the intestines all look different in size-shape under imaging/x-rays? What are the Vets at CSAH really trying to do here? Why is it the Vets at CSAH did not have the proper training/knowledge/skills/tools to treat IBS/pancreatitits? I was requested to deliver my cats heart medications after his surgery- records reveal they pumped him with so many other drugs-not the ones he needed to stay alive. As a result - by day #4 his heart stopped.
Is it possible his death was medically induced at CSAH. I came to retrieve his cold-stiff- body & was required to finalize the bill prior to them releasing him to me. Not one of these 5 Vets that profited from this $10,251.00 pay-day came out to say ANYTHING. Is this cold& heartless behavior? Is this how we define compassion?
This is the most HORRIFIC experience I have ever had dealing with any vets.
FIRST DO NO HARM CSAH VETS! Shame on you.
