The Apartment Seekers

The people at The Apartment Seekers gave me little help in finding a place that matched my needs but rather gave me a general list of apartment buildings around Tallahassee that could have easily been found with a web search or on Craig's list.

So if wasting my time filling out an application and not providing me with decent housing listings wasn't enough, they continued calling and e-mailing me even 8 months after I had been to their office. I asked them repeatedly to stop contacting me and they started threatening to report me to debt collectors on a service that was supposed to be free.

I was skeptical when I would drive by the place, but decided what could be the harm in getting some help with a housing search. Unfortunately I found out the harm.

If this sounds like the kind of situation you want to be in, feel free. I wish someone had warned me.
