This guy is prolific and highly plausible. He has scammed hundreds of people out of thousands of pounds. His scam is usuallly based around overseas property and he will provide very convincing 'guarantees' from top named accountants, banks and investment companies as well as 'demand' for properties from well known travel companies. He usually gets IFAs or Estate Agents to do the dirty work and often some unsuspecting celebrity adds credibility to his presentations; when he conned around 30 people in Lincoln and Nottingham he used the male presenter off 'Homes under the hammer' who I'm sure had no knowledge of the scam.
You are unlikely to get your money back. My group sued the IFA company and around half got their money back. I understand from another 'victim' that he is due in court on 5th of August in Stoud on motoring offences. He has failed to turn up to court on many previous occassions with mediccal excuses - nothing seems to happen to him.
Other people will come on here and tell you he is legit - ask yourself why, if they are genuine people are they on this site looking at one of many of the names or companies he uses? You will find numerous posts under different names and companies, but it is the same guy. AVOID.

I knew him first as Chris Derham,then as Chris Deveraux and then when he got caught out with his hand in the till he vanished. A very nasty piece of work avoid at all costs.
