Art Howe Perfect Skateboards
business loan
Imperial Beach, California, 91932
Art Howe becomes a friend via an internet dating site. Okcupid or Plenty of Fish. He makes it clear that he is dating casually. That is fine. He let me know he likes single moms because he also has a son. After coming around numerous times alone, with friends and with his (at the time) 4-5 year old son Nixon. He makes the move asking for $1,500 to get some materials in for his business.
Later he explains that there is investment opportunity for his business and that even his family has made money in it and would never put a friend's (that's me or you or whomever he meets that week) money in jeopardy. As a matter of fact, you can have your $$$ back at any time if you need it for personal reasons. You certainly won't lose and can make $$$ in 6 months or a year, after the "back to school" or Christmas season, whichever he's targeting you for.
When you try to get your $$$ back at end of investment term, He explains why product won't be released from customs (he needs more money for that) ...
When you still can't have your initial $$$ back never mind the "big payout" he comes up with odd reasons, ie Chinese New Year. (?????) and even if you are on vacation in another country starts texting for more $$$ and assures you its time for our big payout.
All in all he took me for tens of thousands of dollars.
He is good at changing phone numbers, disappearing, coming up with reasons for not answering calls (a flood and mold at his mom's house).
When I first met him he appeared to be a nice guy, dad of sweet preschooler, small business owner, drove and older Mercedes and shared a condo with his sister.
My loan and pay out was supposed to come in March of this year, but in Feb of this year he became a changed man.
By March the guy who seemed to have his stuff together as a small business owner out of his condo (it belonged to his sister) sold the Mercedes and is driving a very old truck. Currently he has changed his phone number at least one "because some crazy chick was making up stories about him" and has become a professional couch surfer, coming to me again and again for small loans $600 (I forget why), $60 (gas for his truck,) $100 (business trip to NY) and last $1,600 (to fix his truck).
By May of this year I was on a vacation on a cruise ship in Italy and "business man Art Howe" assured me he just needed $600 for ... who knows. I was on vacation and had already figured out this guy was full of it.
