Someone claimed to Gary Peyton from the U.K responded to my request on Shaadi dating site.
He started sending me picutures and e-mails. He claimed he was widowed with a 5year old child Michelle. His wife died in a car accident four years ago. Single father, he was an electrical engineer but was working onsite in west africa. red light went off when i heard that but i continued my contact with him for a week and started to feel suspicious. so i started doing some searches and found the photos he sent me --they were already used previously under a different name for scamming.

it would have gotten worse, had i not searched on the web because i was starting to feel suspicious. he was e-mailing love letters and poems he found online. so i did a search found some of them word for word. then i asked him for an id --and he sent me a U.K driver's license which i felt was not legitimate. So my suspicion grew and i searched using the photos, he sent me and i found most of them. The scammer admitted to it and even to the point he was falling in love with me, that he was asking if i was interested in him. then he started to tell me some of the truth and said he wasn't doing it out of choice, he also gets hurt etc... and asked if i was interested in being friends. i was pretty furious internally but i decided to forgive and move on. i informed the dating site right away and they shut down his account -- here are the pictures he used and it was becoming very real for me to have an instant family.


here is one of his letters to me after i started to confront him:

hi dear
I deeply apologise for this, i had no idea those poems were all over the internet, and used by various people... i understand you are hurt and i have caused more harm than good, my intentions were never to hurt you, i would never do such a thing, all i ever wanted is to have a woman i can spend the rest of my life with and live happily ever after, and i found those qualities in you i am as real as the air you breathe, i wish you were here so that you can see how disappointed i am by letting you down, i only wish to make this right but if it pleases you to leave me although i dont want that, you are free to do so, but if you wish to give me the chance to prove myself to you i will do that and we will be happy and you wont regret it. The hardest part in flying an aeroplane is take off but once it is in the air the rest is a lot easier, let us take this as the trials in our relationship, the journey was never meant to be a smooth ride, there are bumps and obstacles along the way, but it takes perseverance and strong will to overcome all these trials... please my heart is also crushed from the way you feel, and i am sorry for this and i ask for your forgiveness and i promise to do what is right to make our relationship work. you already have a place in my heart, a place that has been empty for a long time, i have been scared to replace this emptiness because i dint want a situation like this to occur and now i feel very unhappy with myself for letting this happen to me... i want you to know you mean a lot to me and i meant every single word i have said to you in our entire conversations, and i hope you understand that and believe me, i wana be with and spend the rest of my life with you, i wana spend an eternity with you, i wana exchange vows with you, and make you my wife, i wana be the father of your child and make and have a family together, all these are dreams i have had for both of us and i wish my dreams would come true. well i have said it, i admit to my mistake and no more of such will i send to you and i ask that you forgive me... i also attached more of my pics hope you like them
