Esperanza Domestic Violence Shelter

DO NOT GO THERE!!!!
Their Shelter Manger- Tanya- is a liar and does not represent their services correctly, when you call over the phone.
They are just rehiring ALL the staff that left and the staff that was there steals your medication that you have to turn in.
There are bugs all over the place (especially any left out food), and including cockroaches, ants, bed bugs, etc...(They are still switching out mattresses).
They have no "support groups" and basically no one to talk to, to get any help, if you are TRULY DV ( because the new advocated are around 21 years old that they are now hiring).
Their is expired food in their pantry and freezer burned food in their freezers...and that is it. (Their "shopping person quit also")...and you could spend days there without the essentals of milk, eggs, etc..
THEY WILL NEVER TELL YOU THE PLACE IS : UNDER NEW ORGANIZATION WHEN YOU CALL FOR HELP"
THEY ARE A DISGRACE TO THE COMMUNITY AND THE GOVERMENT FUNDS THAT INABLE TO KEEP THEM OPEN.

IF YOU ARE A PERSON THAT IS TRULY A DV VICTIM (AND NOT JUST LOOKING FOR HOUSING) OR A DONATOR TO THIS ORGANIZATION....BEWARE AGAIN!!!!

THIS DV SHELTER SHOULD BE INVERSETIGATED BY THE STATE!!!!
