This scam transaction was done all through email. This girl claimed that she was from Ireland and wanted to hold my room rental for her. I wrote back and said I would if she sent a cheek for $700. It took weeks and a dozen emails to finally get it. I was pleasantly surprised that when it finally arrived, it was a cashiers check for $3800 on which I thought I could immediately draw. WRONG! Her next email she told me she would like me to send a check to her "movers" for $2500. Last week I informed her that would only happen after the check had cleared. Low and behold the check was returned as UNPAID and deducted from my account. BEWARE! She is probably someone that lives down the block from me or you. Don't fall for things that sound too goo to be true.
