Wells Fargo Advisors LLC
Scammed

Wachovia Bank was in process of being taken over by Wells Fargo. A Wachovia Bank employee convinced me to invest a large amount of money with Wells Fargo Advisors in what I was lead to believe was a municipal bond. I was induced to invest when I was told I'd get 4-1/2% interest, pay a 1% broker fee after a year, and most importand would not lose a dime of my initial investment. Long story short, my money was put into a bond fund, broker fees were withdrawn after only a few months, and this senior citizen is out almost $1,500.
Contacted their Dispute Resolutions Department who eventually sent me a letter containing 99% false information. Says broker contacted me on October 31, 2010 and explained to me, in detail, about the risk involved. This date was a Halloween, and it fell on a Sunday. Nope, broker did not EVER phone me. Stay clear of Wells Fargo Advisors LLC unless, of course, you want to give away your hard-earned money. They employ deceitful scam-artists.
