Helderberg Exotic Cats
Animal Neglect
Berne, New York
It was my bad for impulse buying at a cat show without researching Helderberg Exotic Sick Cats. Highlights direct from the State Inspection Health Reports over the years would have been enough: a suspended an inspection so an injured cat could be brought immediately for treatment/pedigree and consumer rights violations/sick cats not given any isolation area whatsoever/unsatisfactory inspection/deficiencies in the very very very bare minimum housing required for cats/expired operating license/facility run down and needs paint/multiple consumer rights violated again/pedigree violations again/needed to conduct a special inspection because of complaint/caught red handed housing mother and her kittens in the new sick/isolation contagious area and made to move them out ‘immediately’/total of 25 cats not legally vaccinated/no vet records on premises/owner openly admitted to never vetting the sick cats/even more pedigree violations again/operating illegally with out a license/they counted 85 cats- 85 cats???/one report said “many complaints throughout year”/more consumer rights violations/violation in how they were caring for their sick/injured cats/medically treating sick cats sold to customers/said animals were crying in a shed?/violations in record keeping of animals/ found 10 more cats never brought to vet for treatment/unsanitary kennels exuded a horrible urine smell/pet dealer caught altering their own medical records/not only that they issued fraudulent health records to consumer/caught breeding a Siamese with chronic skin condition – no medical treatment was given to her for sores all over her belly while she was forced to nurse kittens/complaints filed with the attorney general/someone suing in small claims court/unlicensed people medically treating animals again/several more detailed consumer complaints sent to the inspectors so far to include an extremely graphic complaint of abuse /The owners can make up all the good reviews they want about themselves and try tricking people into believing they are reputable, but the public records don’t lie.
