I recently stayed a month at one of Hello Relaxations' rental homes in Beverly Hills. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend stay with them. Originally I booked a rental before leaving New York, upon arriving in Los Angeles, I call and I'm told that since they didn't hear from me, that my rental wasn't available. Alright, I booked a hotel for a day, until the next unit they had would become available. Come the next day, I'm told the same, since they didn't hear from it, it would be Monday. Finally on Monday, we had an appointment to meet at 2pm. I arrived promptly, only to call and find out it would be 5pm before I could move in. At this point, I was thankful to have a place to stay and agreed. We move in, about a week later the couch leg fell off. Leaving us no place to sit.. Several days later, the bed post came off.. Now we had no where to sleep. I had to move the mattress to the floor, I made SEVERAL complaints and was told they were looking into it. Fast forward 3 weeks of sleeping on the floor, it's two days before I move out. Finally, a "technician" came by, all he did was look at the problems and said he would call the owner. That's it. I moved out on my move out date, contacted them saying "I've moved out." Requesting my security deposit back. It's been 5 days now and I've yet to receive my $800.00 security deposit. I hope by posting this, it will prevent another vacationer the problems and stress renting from Hello Relaxation has caused me.

It is now May 13th and I have yet to receive my deposit ($800.00) back from this company. My calls and emails go unanswered. I have even texted the company main contact who didn't reply until i said i was filing a report against them. she then said it was mailed last week, it has been a week since then and has not arrived. It's funny, they are answering emails regarding interested renters (as i have done and received a response) but they refuse to answer a simple question about my deposit.

I would NEVER suggest renting from this company.

How are you? I hope your business makes it to be a part of Forbes 500. Im sure you're too young to have Altzheimer. Prior to March 28 you are not officially booked with us. You knew that a security deposit is required to secure a unit. "Without it equals no accomodation." Until today we NEVER received the check that you claimed your company send via mail as a security deposit for that accomodation. Fact is, you called me March 26 that you arrived caught me off guard claiming that you are booked in one of our units in Beverly Hills? I asked you to provide me with the check no. of that deposit your claiming was sent and YOU CAN'T! As I recall you even have the audacity to blame your frustration on me for not having a place to stay. I found that very weird of you blamed a person because your company didn't send the check?? How do you like that. I did ignore that and thought I would be frustrated too if I came to town found out that I will be sleeping on the street. So, I pushed the company worked overtime find David a place to stay!! They found a solution but the unit was not ready not til June 1st. Because you are a valuable customer to us we expedited the schedule and pushed the delivery of NEW Furniture to be delivered rain or shine on March 28 in Palm 3. Everything promised was delivered in perfect condition! ALL NEW! Two weeks later you sent a text that you will be extending for another month which was absolutely approved!! A week later you complained that the sofa leg was broken. The furniture company couldn't find a reason why they need to comeback? That was why I sent my technician / handy man to check the damage and he recommend to replace the sofa because the leg was completely damaged. The furniture guys did came later but wouldn't take the responsibility which later I understand why when I visited Palm 3. You left everything broken?? including the new bed?? The company need to replace Palm 3 with NEW furnitures after you left. Also, it's funny you are mocking me about a simple question with your security deposit. We'll if you are running a company perhaps your accountant can expalin to you their job. Because I don't work for the accounting office that is a different department that mailed your check. You said you left April 28.. I still have your text message confirming that you receive the refund MAY 16. This is 3 days prior to 21 days.

We are a family of 5 & our situation sounds like deja-vu! This company needs to be reported to the Real Estate Board! We investigated & this company has a lot of complaints of unfair business practice & keeping deposits, late check-ins, maitenance issues galore & Mary & company has an excuse for everything...con artists!!!

Yes, I agree, I've heard so many poor excuses from them, Mary & Avi and it all seems to be lies.
Does anyone know their company office address in Beverly Hills?... I have a letter for them!
Im also reporting them to the real estate board.

UGGHHH looks like I got scammed. In my case 3000 dollars. I have not been refunded my deposit from last August BALBOA penninsula horrribly kept rental. Family of 5, one month rental, cost over 12K and I still do not have my deposit back. There is something very fishy going on with these people. Feel free to contact me if you have any doubts. NEVER RENT FROM THEM.

Hello Fraud should be more like it! I can see the reviews parallel my own experiences. I recently rented a property in Newport Beach handled by this company. The place had no hot water, master bath shower would not turn on, and there were bugs in the kitchen cabinets, bedrooms and living room. The company was only interested in making sure I knew they could keep m y money despite the complete misrepresentation, and unlivable condition of the rental. Like so many others on here, I also ever received my security concept. Will likely consider legal action!
