On April of 2011 I went on Alibaba to try to purchase some computer/ cell phones/ tablets, many "merchants" contacted me thru this website. (I believe there were at least 10 fake merchants contacting me now...) I had to picked one....so this Jack Li who claimed he works for a Wholesale/manufacturer of electronics products in Hong Kong name HGDINGDIAN, gave me a long list of various products at an unbeatable price. After a few weeks of emailing back and forth, I order for a minimum amount, somewhow skeptical.
Customers beware, they are very slicks, very friendly, patient, they have all the right answer to make you send your money. If their e mails start with "my friend", then, run!
You see, I never scam anybody, it is just not right, I just don't have it in me, I did not see this coming for I am totally new (and naive) on Alibaba. When he got a hold of my money, (thank God i did not send a lot) there were no products to be received ever. They only use bank wire and Wester Union.
I hope whoever is reading this, will never deal with that person. Just check their credentials very carefully. Not all merchants on alibaba are genuine, I believe there is a mafia on the other side of the continent working very hard on conning regular people.! It was my lesson.
