DiplomaCompany.com, The Diploma Company

WARNING!!! DiplomaCompany.com is FRAUD! The Diploma Company is a SCAM!

Nationwide, USA, Nevada

I regregt that I saw the below report too late. The sleazy scammers at DiplomaCompany.com stole over $300 from me and didn't send me anything, not even a thank you card! I was fooled by the glitzy web site and the references they gave me to call. All three telephone numbers of the shills were disconnected 3 weeks later. I am trying to find a way to get some revenge since I cannot even get a live person to pick up their telephone and my 23 emails over the last 3 months have been totally ignored. Does anyone know the owner of this company?

SCAM PATROL INTERNATIONAL REPORTS:

We just completed a 9 month investigation of numerous fake diploma mills found on-line and could not find a legitimate one in the entire bunch! Of course no fake diploma is legit, but we were at least expecting delivery of a document. All of the below companies took and attempted to cash our checks but only one company (budgetdiploma.com) delivered a document which was totally useless since it had a huge watermark that said "REPLICA DOCUMENT" in 2 inch letters!

But we marveled at the elaborate lengths the diploma company operating at diplomacompany.com went to to create so much false credibility for their web site as follows:

1. Impressive professional looking website complete with "live customer service chat"
2. Published street address (which is property rented in someone else's name)
3. Toll-free number forwarded to pre-paid disposable cell phones
4. Paid testimonial shills
5. Land line telephone number (Turned out to be a Magic Jack line)
6. Even their own fabricated "fake diploma review" web site!
7. Paid bloggers spamming up the internet every day
8. Even a hacker disabling scam alert links that expose their fraud

These scammers are pros for sure and we give them an A+ for creativity and persistence. According to Greg Lawson at the FTC, this company has changed their name 6 times in the last 2 years and their base of operations three times in just the last year alone. Of the 872 complaints we received over the last year about diploma sites, 129 are accusing the diploma company, aka diplomacompany.com of either being a scam or a front for an FBI sting operation. Either way, people who send them money get NOTHING but an order confirmation number - just like us when we placed an order with them on March 3rd, 2011. The below links (spanning 2008-2011) are self-explanatory and are typical of the complaints SPI received.

The other companies that turned out to be just plain thieves who take your money and deliver nothing are:

* Next Day Diplomas
* AAA Diplomas
* Diploma Express
* Express Diploma
* Diploma Xpress
* Xpress Diploma
* Esquire Diploma
* Real Deal Diplomas
* Great Diplomas
* Phony Diplomas
* Deluxe Diplomas
* Derby Documents
* Global Diplomas
* Excellent Diplomas
* S&S Diplomas
* College Board Diplomas
* IBF Diplomas (an actual FBI Sting Operation)
* Quality Diplomas
* Best Diplomas

In summary, if you think you can obtain a realistic looking fake diploma on line - guess again. If you send these people money, you will be swindled, AND you run the risk of becoming a subject of an FBI investigation for employment, interstate, & wire fraud if you order your diploma from another state by email or telephone. Beware or Be Sorry!

This report is totally bogus. Diploma Company has live phone and chat nearly 18 hours a day. I know because I ordered from them and received the product. I did the same thing for a few other sites (some on this list), just to check them out and create a review site. I reviewed all kinds of aspects, including customer service. Check out my review site, I even show proof of delivery (every company delivered something, nobody stole our money).

Diploma Company has even had the same phone number for a long time, so I have no idea what you're talking about when you say numbers were disconnected?? Use a way back machine, you'll see. As far as their name changing 6 times in the last year, the domain has been registered since 2007. Even just a little bit of research completely disproves this post.
The only motivation I can think for this totally ridiculous report is that it must be written by a competitor. I would check the list of sites to see who is not on there.

Also, Diploma Company and most of these other sites accept credit cards payments on a secure site and sell novelty diplomas (their disclaimer). They wouldn't be able to accept credit cards if they just stole peoples' money, the credit card companies would drop them. Everybody knows that.

Also, novelty diplomas are not illegal to buy and sell in the United States. There are some illegal things you could do with them, but how is that different from buying a gun? If it were illegal, they wouldn't have been allowed to accept payments in the first place.

The real scam are sites like ND-Center.com that only accept cash payments, like Western Union or Money Gram. They can take your money and not ship you anything with absolutely no consequences.

As far as 872 total victims reported. That is totally ridiculous. How would visa allow these sites to continue processing payments if 872 "victims" had reported them? Come on...
I read all of these "reviews" about all of these companies. Since everyone had seem to have a bad "review" about there site I went with diploma company.com because they actually had customer support and accepted all major credit cards. It came in with the free shipping option just fine. I told the chat person there I would write a good review since they did a good job. Great work and Thanks!!!
