Scam Alert
This man claimed to be working in Africa with his daughter there and he stated he was from Aberdeen, Scotland. We only talked a small amount when he started proclaiming his love for me. Then when he went to work in Africa, he claimed to be buying tiles for his construction business, he said his daughter had an accident and the hospital required a deposit of $1200 before they would treat her. I deleted him right away.
When did this happen? How old did he say he was? Did he live in California before he went to Africa? I met a man named Gary Swan( stolen ID and name) from Santa Clara, California.
He was an Irish man from Dublin. He was also a widower. He had a 16 year old daughter named Cindy. He had to go to Malaysia on business. When I pressed him for the name of the hotel he came up with St. Luke Watch Tower Hotels. I googled searched it. It does not exist. It is a favorite hotel for Nigerian scammers. I met this scammer on Senior People Meet a few weeks ago.
Oh no.... I am currently communicating with a Gary Swan from Santa Clara, Ca., also with a daughter named Cindy. He is now in Malaysia waiting to be paid for a job. He even sent me the website address of his business, XS Engineering. Are you sure he is a scammer? He hasn't asked for any money and seems very sincere. I do not want to be fooled so if you can verify this or send any further information, I would be very appreciative.
