They send you an offer in an envelope with no return address. Enclosed is a check. You must calk them prior to depositing the check to "activate" the check. The phone number is an unpublished number in Canada. When you call, they tell you to deposit the check and call them back. They want you to go shopping and to wire money. Luckily my bank was quick in catching the fraudulent check but, now my account is frozen until they get the returned check. I'll probably have to pay a returned check fee and can't access my account for a few fays but it could have been much worse. Don't get sucked in.
