JC Penney sends me a bill for either ordered merchandise, or in-store bought items charged to my account. Accompnying that bill are offers from other companies to use their services (i.e., Plan Plus, Leisure Plus, and Stonebridge Insurance). These extra companies say, basically, that if I do not return the provided 'slip' in its envelope, they will assume I want their services, and will start billing me.
I called each one up, and they 'forgave me' one month, but I must pay the rest! Then JC Penney calls me and says I have not paid my bill, and they will send my information to a collection agency.
