He contacted me via Facebook. Said he was looking for an old friend and saw me. After a few Facebook messages, he told me to download Yahoo Messenger where we talked for hours and days. He claims to be from Italy, has 15 year old son, wife killed in car accident 5 years ago, looking for soulmate, and claims it is me. Lots of romantic talk, probably cut and pasted because it repeats. (I see that now.) But, he is very convincing. Claims to be a construction engineer on a contract in Lagos, Nigeria, and is from Long Beach or Los Angeles, Ca. Has an answer for everything, very patient and persuasive. I did some reading on Internet and found his pictures in a photo database of pictures used by these people. Communication ended quickly when I told him I knew all about what was happening here. I am neither stupid nor easily taken in by something like this, so while I feel like an idiot right now, I'd like to keep this person from operating online.
