My husband and I bought a car in february 2011 from own a car usa. We signed the loan, and left the car at the dealer so they could supposedly check it out to make sure its safe. I picked it up the next day, and it seemed like nothing had been done to it, the oil was low, along with all the other fluids, and it wasnt even detailed inside or out. I drove the car for around 3 weeks and got an unexpected call from Larry (one of the finance guys) saying they are coming to pick up my car because they had lost the title. I was furious because we had put a large amount of money fixing the problems it had. They said it wasnt their fault that it was lost, that it was the auction companies problem. My husband called Larry back and threatened to take him to court and thats when he said we could keep the car for another week until they find us a new one. That never happened, I drove around with their own a car yellow plate for almost 3 months. I eventually got my plates and got to keep the car. Its now July, and the car has numerous things wrong with it. Ive taken it to many different shops to see what the problem is, and theyve found 9 different codes that came up from the diagnostics test. One gentleman from the shop told me that the control arms (which weve had to spend 400 dollars to fix) were messed up before I bought the car. I was also told that the problems or codes that come up just dont happen overnight that it was messed up before the car was purchased. I really DESPISE that company and all employees, no one deserves to be treated that way or scammed, the economy is bad enough already!
