I rented a house and the tenant made a check $23,500 corresponding to one full year rent to United Realty Group. U.R.G. was supposed to deduct a $75.00 commission and cut a check for me in the amount of $23,475.

For over a moth I tried to contact them over the phone but they did not return any of the calls. On Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, I went to their office and met with Paul Brownel and his partner, Dave Chambless. They told me that by mistake, the check was deposited, in the wrong bank account, as money coming as commissions for URG and not as rent money, and that this particular account was frozen due to a law suit.

They also told me that they would give the money to me if they could solve the problem with that account, but that they possibly would have to go on bankruptcy and, in that case, I could not recover the money.
