Our experience:
My son and law and I have been looking for a himmi for my daughter for Xmas after her 17 year old flame point died of old age after raising him from birth. My son in law who knows nothing about the cat or any kind of business called Melanie at Lollimops that is some distance from us and made arrangements to meet her and look at one of her kitties.

She wanted $100 deposit to do this first through pay pal. A few hours after he talked to her he found a kitty that was just what my daughter wanted from another source. He made arrangement to see that one which was much closer and called Melanie right away.

What happened after that was just unbelievable. To make a long story short, she told us very rudely that no one twisted his arm and that she was keeping the money!. She hung up on my son in law (they are a young couple with a new baby and very innocent of people like her) and of course does not pick up her phone when you call, must leave a message. I tried to talk to her by leaving a message that we should be able to work this out and that I did not think that the CFA encourages those that have catteries registered with them should treat customers like this.

When I dealt with them year ago they were very reputable and strick about catteries. We owned himmies for years. She accused me of threatening her and hung up on me too! I tried to reason with her and she accused me of threatening her because I indicated that Cat Fanciers would not appreciate this kind of business practice for registered cats. She hung up on me!

Do you have any suggestions or input you can provide. We have issued a complaint against Lollimops with paypal, the better business bureau and CFA. I thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
