I have a 2003 G.M.C. truck 3500 Deisel. I purchased new in 2003 at 35000 miles i started to have problems and I took the truck to the G.M.C. dealer in Hemet Ca. They told me at that time that I needed to have all the fuel injectors replaced because they had a recall on them. So they did. I don't drive the truck much other than going back and forth to the V.A. for treatments. The truck has about 87000 miles on it and now the truck is doing the same thing again. So I took the truck to the Chev. dealer because G.M.C. dealer is out of business. They told me that all the injectors were bad again. So I contacted G.M.C. to complain and I was told that I had to pay fifty percent out of my pocket. I told them that this was a repeat issue with these injectors. I have owned other desil trucks in the past and they do not go out this quickly they have gone to at least 300,000 miles. I have been on the phone with the reps from G.M.C. and it always goes back to the same person that heads customer service. I have asked him to let me speak to a supervisor and he has told me that this is as high as I am going to go. So I tried to reach other reps and they tell me that they will call me back so I can speak to a supervisor and the same person keeps calling me back. I found out that there had been a class action suet on this issue for these models 2001 up to 2004. I had asked the rep from G.M.C. if this was true and he told not so. I looked this suet up on the internet and yes they did get sued for this problem. I can't believe that a company of this size does not stand up for the product they produce. they keep saying that my truck is old and that they can't control these issues. I also found out that the injectors they replaced were the same ones that they were having problems all along. I found out that a new model had been made to fix this problem and my truck did not get those. They were the sameones that had the problem. I really feel that maybe our country should not have bailed them out when they were in trouble. If this is how they treat customers that have believed in the G.M.C. product for many years.
