I was messing around on the internet looking for a particular game and, like an idiot, found my game and started playing without realizing what I had done. I noticed a text message and realized I had hit one of those ridiculously expensive websites so I text back STOP like I was suppose to and still 3 days later l found two charges one for $39.99 and one for $1.20. I immediately call the company and tell them I was on the website but didn't realize that I had signed up to a monthly charge so they cancel immediately (only 3 days later and I never returned to this website), but no refund. When I finally get back in touch with the company they state "WE DO NOT GIVE ANY REFUNDS OF ANY SORT AND IF YOU DON'T CANCEL WITHIN 5 DAYS ON THE NEXT MONTHLY CHARGE WE WILL CHARGE YOU AGAIN". They also asked why I didn't read their terms - because I didn't want to sign up to their website. I think that not refunding money within 3 days (and not using their services) is a SCAM and a way to take peoples money who didn't want their services and accidentally signed up as I did. I have started a claim with my bank and hopefully get my money returned. I have done this on other websites and they have returned my money.
