Dating on line.
Contacted me on Friends reunited Dating, said he did not go on site very often so would I contact him straight to his email. Hid profile said he was living in UK "Leighton Buzzard" his father was Dutch and Mother from UK .His emails started as you expect when you are getting to know each other, questions nothing that you dint want to answer. Said he wanted to get to know me slowly,did not want to know what I had or earned.
said he had his own business and was at that time waiting to hear if he had won a contract that he had tendered for. He emailed me to say he had won the contract and would send me the certificate, I thought this strange at the time, it was for a contract in Sweden doing up a block of 6 flats which had to be completed in 2 weeks. So within days he was apparently in Sweden, his emails continued getting more romantic each day, poems, e-cards, telephone conversations then on to messenger sometimes chatting for up to 4 hours in the evening. Then just before he was due to finish the contract and fly home to "me" he experienced money problems. Said that plant that had been hied had been damaged and he had to settle before the company would sign the job off and he had no money left. In my work I deal with plant hire so I asked him where his insurance was,said they didnt do it there? Sent me the paperwork from hire company with the damage and costings just over £5500.00. Wanted me to help, my gut feelings where telling me that this was not right,so I switched off and went to a friend.
I set a Face book account up called Jane Scammed to warn other ladies of this activity but the got closed down by who we dont know// but some people did not like what I was doing I also have a PAGE " Busting Scam,Nigerian Dating and USA Army" where I post photos that I receive that are being used by scammers. I belong to a Private group of Ladies from all over the world who share their experiences and are on dating sites waiting to be contacted by these scammers, there are many. I was contacted by a lady who read Jane Scammed Face book she was in contact with my scammer...identical emails and poems, so we got our own back on him,that gave us great pleasure . I have many photos and all emails that were used, they make pretty good reading and are available. Image 1 and 2 used in first scam image 3 and 4 used in second scam.
